We have expertise in planning more complex designs including structure plans, multi-unit residential developments and plan changes. We work from concept design stage through to development of construction drawings for procurement and/or council approval, and the final stages of management and observation of construction works.

We prepare urban design and landscape visual impact assessments for a range of different projects and developments using the relevant policies, objectives and rules of the District Plan. We can also prepare evidence needed for resource consent applications, plan changes and hearings. Our assessments use the Aotearoa New Zealand Landscape Guidelines to determine the likely effects of a proposal.

We also have experience in developing and producing design guidelines and structure plans for local councils.
