Residential Design

DCM worked closely with Mark and Anna to develop a landscape design that would sit naturally alongside their newly constructed Wilson and Hill residence. The brief focused on creating a functional and well-integrated outdoor living environment that complemented the architecture of the home.

The design included a swimming pool, paving, extensive planting and a Johnson and Cousins louvre, creating a sheltered outdoor entertainment area. Careful consideration was given to weather exposure, with the layout designed to block cold easterly winds and extend the usability of the outdoor living space throughout the year. The pool also includes an automated cover, with the pump and filter screened behind a cedar slat fence that doubles as storage for pool toys and equipment.

The completed landscape provides a beautiful extension of the home, combining entertaining, swimming and practical service areas creating comofrtable outdoor living for Mark and Anna. The landscape works were implemented by Shaun McMahon Landscapes, with the pool constructed by Lagoon Pools.
