DCM Urban Design recently completed the construction and development of Millhaven Playground in Styx Mill Subdivision, Christchurch, Canterbury. This project was commissioned by Avanda and completed in 2023.

A key aspect of the design was to provide a nature play area, allowing children to explore the space as an extension of their own backyard for imaginative play with other kids. The playground was designed with accessibility at the forefront and offers play equipment for kids of all ages.
