Te Whariki Playground, Lincoln
Master planning, streetscape and landscape design for the final stage of Te Whariki in Lincoln, Canterbury. The stage includes approximately 400 residential sections varying in size from 400m2 to 1200m2; a major playground reserve with a playground, basketball half court and cycle training course; and extensive native plantings surrounding springs and waterways. The development includes the use of stormwater retention basins to filter water before it enters local streams which are linked by a network of off-road shared paths.
