For a recent transportation project in Kerikeri, DCM Urban Design collaborated closely with Viastrada, a renowned transport engineering company. Together we conducted a strategic transportation study, focusing on accessibility, safer walking to school routes and a refined cycleway weaving through the wider Kerikeri district.

DCM produced a comprehensive package detailing the major areas of improvement laid out by the Far North District Council. These areas included a strategy for Hone Heke Road slow street improvements, the Kerikeri Road cycleway connections and connecting greenways for the local neighbourhoods. A series of 3D renders, plans and concept illustrations were produced, helping to provide a realistic view of the proposed transportation improvements.
